Product Description
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) On May 20, 2010, Laura Ingraham received a package from an anonymous source that will change the history of the United States and the legacy of President Barack Obama. While retrieving her automobile from the underground garage at the Watergate complex (where she had just enjoyed her weekly pedicure), Ingraham discovered a manila envelope on the hood of her car. When she picked it up, a deep baritone voice called out from a nearby stairwell: "Just read it. You’ll know what to do." The shadowy figure then disappeared into the darkness without another word.

The envelope contained copies of what appeared to be diary entries written by President Barack Obama, his family, and high-ranking administration officials. Because the "diaries" are so revealing, Ingraham felt compelled to release them to the American public and the citizens of the world.

Major media outlets love to describe the president as "no drama Obama," but The Obama Diaries tells a different tale. Through these "diary entries," readers will see past the carefully constructed Obama faÇade to the administration’s true plans to "remake America."

In The Obama Diaries, Ingraham hilariously skewers the president and his minions. She takes aim at:

•the cynical "razzle-dazzle" marketing of Obama’s radical agenda

•the use of the Obama "brand" and family to obscure Obama’s true aims

•Michelle Obama’s gardening and anti-obesity initiative; and much more.

Informative and hugely entertaining, The Obama Diaries will inspire both laughter and critical thinking about the future of the nation and the man currently at the helm.

Excerpts from Laura Ingraham’s The Obama Diaries

Obama on Sarah Palin:

"Hell, doesn’t Palin have anything better to do than criticize me? Shouldn’t she be back home shooting some endangered wolf species from a helicopter?" (April 9, 2010)

Michelle on being First Lady:

"I’ll be damned if all this fabulosity is going to go to waste reading Dr. Seuss to snot-nosed kids all day." (January 23, 2009)

Vice President Joe Biden on Michelle Obama:

"She’s kind of like a black Hillary Clinton. I mean that in a good way." (May 5, 2009)

Obama on his visit to the Vatican:

"If I can ingratiate myself with a few more of these red-hats, the pope thing might not be a bad follow-up to the presidency." (July 10, 2009)

But I guess it would look nice on the bookshelf next to "The Turner Diaries."

I guess if you can find someone to publish trash, then it must be true.

How sad that you can make money by fabricating BS.....no matter what side you're on.

This was a great read. It is sometimes funny, but very enlitening as a look inside their thoughts. After reading this book, I realized that many things now made perfect sense.

5 out of 5 stars Laura Ingrham strikes again.   August 31, 2010

Laura Ingraham is at her best in the Obama Diaries. She has squewered the prez and ole sleevless dead center. Buy 2 or 3 one to keep and another to give as a gift.

1 out of 5 stars Very sad but some people believe this is true...   August 31, 2010

I hadn't heard of this book until a man I have worked with for years trying to get formaldehyde regulated said I had to read it. He has worked for 30 years to get formaldehyde regulated (which the Republicans have managed to prevent) after being poisoned by a manufactured home he purchased.

He had just read the Obama Diaries, and very alarmed. He read the following from the "diaries": Obama: I am overjoyed at the death panels my health care legislation is going to create.

He actually believes that Obama wrote that! Yes, this is an older gentleman, but he really believes the Obamacare is going to slaughter everyone who is over 75 years old. He became very angry when I told him this is a spoof.

Sad, and now people like this want to put the Republicans back in charge of Congress...the same Republicans who did "financial reform" that caused the economic crisis. The same Republicans (Inhofe delayed formaldehyde regs for years; Vitter took over for him last year blocking a key EPA appointment until EPA did the bidding of The Formaldehyde Council) who have valiantly done the wishes of their campaign donors who are members of The Formaldehyde Council to make sure that formaldehyde wasn't regulated. After all, it is mainly poor people who live in manufactured housing, so who cares?

If we ever want a Congress that works for the people, we must have public financing of elections.
